Train, in person, for 7 days.
The same award winning training we have been providing at our working Forest School setting in Churchdown.
- Attend 7 days face-to-face training
- Develop skills and experiences in a working Forest School
- Coursework theory session delivered verbally
- Complete coursework within one year
- Full support provided throughout
Online/Practical Mix
If you would prefer to minimise the impact of studies then this option will suit. Receive the same award winning training, developed in line with international Forest School guidelines, but spending less time face-to-face. Features include:
- Learn at your pace at a time that suits you
- Elements of the theory delivered online
- Fully supported virtual classroom
- Equivalent to 5 days of on site course input
- Attend 3 fully PRACTICAL daysΒ at our award winning training centre
- Develop skills and experiences in a working Forest School
Frequently asked questions
Do both courses lead to the same qualification?
Yes. As an Ofqual regulated training provider – exclusively developing Forest School qualifications – we are providing you with a choice of how you achieve your qualification. Both will eventually lead to a Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification, recognised internationally!
How big are your group sizes?
A group will never be larger than 10 people, but is usually around 6. As a not for profit we only place an upper limit on group size.
Will sessions be delivered inside?
For some of the time, yes. However, we currently have a brand new outdoor classroom (picture coming soon) being built to ensure we are outside for the majority of the course. If you would like to wear PPE for the duration of the course then this is non-compulsory. We will, however, continue to follow advice from the government.
We will cover all of the practical in just 3 days?
The Forest School Leader course requires the delivery of a large amount of theory. Our STANDARD course involves ‘lecture’ style sessions to deliver this information, followed on by practical experiences to build confidence.
Our BLENDED course delivers the theory elements of the course via an online course. This is an almost identical replica of the course delivered on-site, without the need to be physically present. It also provides you with the opportunity to achieve this element of the qualification at your own pace.
