Level 1 Forest School Awareness course

Our Level 1 Forest School Awareness qualification will provide trainees with a introductory understanding of the Forest School Ethos and the benefits to participants.

This award will enable you to gain 3 credits and a Level 1 Award in Forest School. You can use this to take the next steps in your training: Level 2 Forest School Assistant and Level 3 Forest School Leader.

The course consists of 12 hours of online learning through our award winning training platform (access on your phone, tablet or pc) plus one full day of practical training at out working Forest School setting in Churchdown, Gloucestershire.

As soon as you are ready! You can enrol on our Level 1 Forest School Awareness course at any time once payment has been made. An invoice with payment details will be generated and emailed to you with 10 minutes of signing up to the course.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Have an interest in learning about the principles of Forest School.
• Hold a current enhanced DBS certificate.

You are required to bring along your current DBS form along with photographic ID

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is ample parking available 5 minutes walk from the venue – full details will be provided.

What can I bring into the event?

Bring yourself, appropriate outdoor clothing, food and drinks. We will provide tea, coffee and biscuits!
