Shane is our Forest School leader and QCF trainer. He has been a Forest School leader for 12 years and is nothing less than a Forest School expert! Since completing his qualifications back in 2007, he has established numerous Forest School sites, worked with thousands of children at Forest School sessions, welcomed colleagues and visiting staff to his site and worked alongside other organisations such as the Ernest Cook Trust, Badger Wood Adventures, Cheltenham College, The University Of GloucestershireΒ and Cotswold Natural Mindfulness.
He has also set up Forest School events at a local music festival (2000 Trees)Β and has experienced the Scandinavian approach through extensive experience of the Swedish education system.
He is an inspirational teacher and Forest School leader and will be your guide through the QCF process. No question is too big or too small.
As well as on-site tuition, Shane is at the end of the phone to support you and available via email for any additional guidance required during your course. From the first day to your last day, Shane will inspire your Forest School journey.
In addition to Shane, you will also be supported by Mark Bacon, headteacher at Churchdown Village Junior School and Centre Contact. Mark is on hand to guide you through the booking process and to support you during your time with us at Inspired Forest School Training.
