When the children sing their hearts out on the way to a session, you know they are fully embedding the Forest School Ethos at a setting.
This was how I was greeted on a recent visit to Upton St Leonards School, Gloucestershire. A group of Y1 and Y2 pupils snaked through the school grounds, leading us to their Forest School, whilst announcing to the community that they were on their way!
Thank you to Kate for sharing the song with us all, and to the children for inspiring me to sing along. I’m told that the song changes each time, linked to the activities that have taken place during the session, the seasons and, of course, the weather. Well done everyone.
